The Georgetown Fire Department has the primary jurisdiction for fire and medical emergencies for Old Driftway. The Fire Marshal has raised serious concerns regarding the length and width of Developer’s roadway, especially regarding Developer’s roadway being capable of bearing and maneuvering GFD’s fire vehicles weighing up to 62,000 pounds (31 tons). This is the FM’s opinion.
